Software Engineer, Contract

Overview

ConciergeBot is looking for a software engineer! This is a great opportunity to join a growing startup in the conversational AI space! We are hiring on a project-based basis that could expand into a continual engagement for the right candidate. This is a fully remote, contract position. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Implementation and improvement of existing code modules for chatbot and voice app services based on project/task specifications

• Interaction with senior leadership and strategic partners on development work, timelines and deliverables

• Complete documentation of work completed

• Occasional troubleshooting support for “live” production issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven ability to deliver projects based on project specifications

• Experience working across remote, geographically distributed teams

• 3+ years experience with Node.js and Linux (required)

• Experience with serverless cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda or Firebase

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs (required)

• Proficient user of MS Office, Google Docs, etc.

• Excellent communication skills

• Chatbot experience a plus

• Twilio experience a plus

• Web development experience in React a plus

• Proficiency in additional languages beyond English a plus

• Data management, data science experience

• Experience with unit testing, test automation

• Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams

• Interest in travel and tourism
